Go Seahawks!

So today we Washingtonians get to enjoy a nice 10 O'clock football game of the Seattle Seahawks vs. the Chicago Bears.  Now, I know that there is a very slight chance that the Seahawks are going to win, but there is always hope!!  :) The verse for today is:

Romans 1:7  To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints:  Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

This morning I was rudely woken up by my dad because he wanted to drag me off to the 8:00 service for church.  How annoying I thought at the time; but by the time I got there, I have to admit that I was glad that he had dragged me out of my warm, comfy bed.  My pastor made a sermon about how all people should be united together and not be predjudice of differences.  Whether the difference is white and black or girl and boy or even Christianity and Mormanism.  We should love our neighbors as ourselves and treat all people with respect.  Many people need to just be assured that some one in the world cares about them and we need to come together as a community by sharing God's hope.  Everyone have a good day and enjoy all the splendor that surrounds you!

Dear God, be with me today.  Lead me and guide me, suround me with your love and I pray Lord that you can take the world in your hands guide your people to share and spread your Word.  In your Holy and precious name; Amen.
